NOT KNOWING HOW TO HELP YOUR CHILD CAN FEEL OVERWHELMING

Watching your child struggle can be heartbreaking...but you don’t have to do it alone.

WE HAVE PIVOTED!

You are probably here looking for brain-based, child-led, nature-forward occupational therapy services in the heart of South Minneapolis.

That's what we were until very recently... And as those remain our values, we are excited to say....Nature Kids Therapy is pivoting!

Current administration limiting Medicaid funding? Major health insurances such as Health Partners, Medica, and Ucare not giving us contracts? No problem!

While we are no longer able to take clients for traditional occupational therapy due to the current third party payor constrictions...

...we are doubling down and even more determined to be a vital resource for our South Minneapolis community for both neurotypical and neurodivergent kids and their families.

We are now Nature Kids Therapy Art Center.

A sensory-aware, neuroinclusive open play gym and ceramic studio.

Offering an essential third place for regulation, movement, art, creativity, and community.

Affordable packages and memberships for children, teens, and adults provide access to Open Play and Ceramic Studio sessions.

Plus caregiver education to understand your child’s nervous system and support emotional regulation, motor coordination, sensory processing, and social skills...

...an ideal option while you’re on long OT waitlists or need a fun space to go to get out of the house!

  • Theresa P., mom

As a parent it’s heartbreaking to see your child struggle, and to not have the tools to help them. We truly don’t know what we don’t know. In the past years my son has become a different person. Milestones that once seemed insurmountable, he can now do with pride.”

  • Andrea L., mom

"Thanks to Adrienne’s expertise and thoughtful approach, our son is now thriving in ways we never imagined. Her ability to blend knowledge with genuine care is what makes her a standout occupational therapist. We are forever grateful for the impact she has had on our son's life.”

  • Amanda B., mom

“Our family has benefited immensely from our OT experience with Adrienne.  We have seen a shift in our daughter's ability to regulate and navigate intense emotions and feelings.  We have seen her motor skills and coordination develop and have watched her accomplish new feats at the playground, which is a huge point of pride for her.”

Calling 4–6 Founding Families

Nature Kids Therapy Art Center is growing into something rare and needed—a community-built sanctuary for creativity, regulation, and connection. We’re weaving this space layer by layer, and one of the threads we need most is mutual support.

We’re offering 4 to 6 founding members a discounted membership of 25% off forever in exchange for being our point person and anchoring presence during Open Play Sessions once a month. Think of it as helping hold energetic and practical space while everyone plays, creates, and connects.

If you feel called to help shape a third place your family can return to again and again, we would love to welcome you as a founding family.
