MAGIC PATHWAYS SCHOOL

✨Confident & Joyful Growth, Rooted in Nervous System Care

Is your child between 5 and 7 years old and getting ready to take the next step into High-5 or kindergarten? Whether they’ve been at home, in daycare, or in a play-based preschool, this is a tender stage of growth where children are building the foundations for success in bigger school settings. Through the Magic Pathways School, we support kids who shine with curiosity and creativity — yet may still need help with big emotions, transitions, motor skills, or self-regulation.

The nervous system is truly magical. Its neural pathways may be invisible, but they shape everything about how your child experiences the world — from how they move their body, to how they process sounds, to how they manage big feelings. Through a mix of nervous system care, imaginative play, and small-group connection, we help children build these invisible foundations so daily life becomes smoother, more joyful, and less overwhelming. The result is children who grow confident, calm, and ready for what’s ahead.

About Magic Pathways School

Through Magic Pathways, we’ve created a unique space for children ages 5–7, where both neurodivergent and neurotypical kids can truly thrive. This is a small, supportive, and imaginative environment designed for children who are sensitive and bright — yet may struggle with:

  • Giving up or melting down when things get hard
  • Feeling easily frustrated or overwhelmed by big emotions
  • Proprioceptive or sensory challenges (bumping, crashing, knocking things over)
  • Impulsivity and inattention
  • Interoceptive difficulties (like not noticing when they’re hungry, thirsty, or full)

Here, their strengths are celebrated — and their challenges are met with compassion and nervous system–based support. The Magic Pathways After-School Program helps children unwind, regulate, and strengthen the foundations they need for school success — so they end the day calmer, more confident, and ready for what’s ahead.

🌱 Why Magic Pathways School Works

It’s always easier to build strong foundations early on than to face ongoing challenges later in elementary school. Traditional classrooms often expect children to “push through” without addressing the root causes of frustration, dysregulation, or social and learning challenges. At Magic Pathways School, we take the opposite approach — giving children the nervous system support, play-based learning, and small-group connection they need now, so they can thrive with confidence in the years ahead.

  • Small group size (max 8 children): Keeps sensory input manageable and social interactions supportive.
  • Nervous system work: Through breathwork, movement, and the S.M.A.R.T. program, we build the foundation for self-regulation and learning.
  • Nature & play-based rhythm: Daily park time, gardening, crafts, and free play keep kids connected to joy and imagination.

We don’t just manage behaviors — we help children re-pattern their brains and bodies so they can feel successful, confident, and calm.

🧠 What is the S.M.A.R.T. Program?

Many kids struggle in school not because they aren’t smart — but because their nervous systems aren’t fully ready to learn. The Stimulating Maturity Accelerated Readiness Training (S.M.A.R.T.) program addresses this by strengthening the neurological “wiring” children need for success.

Think of it like rewiring a house: if the kitchen lights are hooked up to the bathroom switches, nothing works properly. With targeted daily movement and reflex-integration exercises, we help your child’s brain “rewire” for focus, regulation, and learning readiness.

This 30-minutes-a-day practice supports:

  • Integration of retained reflexes
  • Better body awareness and coordination
  • Improved sensory processing
  • Stronger focus and attention
  • A calmer, more regulated nervous system

Think of it like a gymnastics class obstacle course only with intentional neuro-sensory motor exercises to integrate reflexes and prepare the brain for learning.
